Combination
Your skin can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others, such as the T-zone (nose, forehead, and chin). Many people have this type. It may need slightly different care in different areas. We recommend you to filter in your concerns and to focus your treatment products (serums and masks) in the areas of concern.

One common mistake: confusing dry skin with dehydrated skin. Dry skin is a skin type that doesn’t produce enough oil, resulting in roughness, itchiness and flakiness. Which can then lead to dehydration.

Normal
'Normal' is a term widely used to refer to well-balanced skin. The scientific term for well-balanced skin is eudermic. The T-zone (forehead, chin and nose) may be a bit oily, but overall sebum and moisture is balanced and the skin is neither too oily nor too dry.

Oily
Blemish prone skin is usually oily, appears shiny, and is more susceptible to pimples, blackheads, and acne breakouts due to an excess of oil or sebum. While the body naturally produces sebum to help protect the skin and keep it moisturised - an excess of it can lead to clogged pores, inflammation, and blemishes.

Pregnancy is a great time to simplify your skincare routine, stick to minimal formulas and try more natural products.
Using active serums while pregnant, such as exfoliants, is something that is heavily debated. Doctors say there is no research to support that products are to cause any harm.
We do know as an industry however the known risks of high-dose vitamin A ingestion. Which is why we say Vitamin A/Retinoids and high concentrations of Salicylic Acid should be completely avoided in skincare.
We would strongly advise speaking with your GP or Midwife so that they can give you an accurate recommendation. The full ingredients list for each of our products can be found on the product pages.

Sensitive
Sensitive and redness-prone skin is more common than people realise and something of considerable concern to many. Flushing, sensitivity and uneven skin texture make it harder to be confident in your skin and are often concerns that make-up cannot completely disguise. we believe in soothing the underlying cause of redness so there’s less need for make-up and more opportunity for confident, healthy-looking skin.
